We are excited to host our second annual Making Waves benefit concert this year! The purpose of this concert is to raise money for the Tidewater Music Therapy Scholarship Fund. This fund aims to make music therapy more accessible in the Hampton Roads community by lessening the financial burden that comes with receiving services. Join us for an afternoon of music and making waves in the community!
Tidewater Music Therapy presents Making Waves, a Benefit Concert.
WHEN: Saturday, May 10th, 2:00 pm.
WHERE: Yorkminster Presbyterian Church, Founder's Hall, Yorktown.
DIRECTIONS: Drive around the church until you come to a large parking lot. Founder's Hall will be on the right side as you're looking at the building. We will have signs up to point you in the right direction! If you get lost, call Nicole at 757-255-8866 for help.
That's right, this event is free to attend! We suggest a $10 donation to the scholarship fund as you leave. We can accept donations via cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal.
Our music therapy team is comprised of four classically trained musicians, and you'll get to hear us perform! The concert will also feature two special guest performers!
Our concerts are always sensory friendly. All are welcome to enjoy the music, including our community members with special needs. We are conscious of our volume levels and we welcome all displays of appreciation.
We will have brand new TMT merchandise for sale as well as our usual fan-favorite items. All proceeds from our merch sales will go toward the scholarship fund.
